Boardwalk Construction

The long-awaited seawall and boardwalk project finally broke ground this summer and is projected to be complete within three phases by 2017. The project will produce a continuous boardwalk running to Gardner’s Basin and is expected to cost more than $40 million. The project’s first phase is underway and focuses on the span from Oriental Avenue to Melrose Avenue, which directly affects Flagship Resort. We will post updates to this page to help Owners and guests navigate through the construction as the project progresses.

Parking Garage Repair

The parking garage is currently undergoing renovations now through Spring 2016. Alternate parking is available on the surface lot next to the resort. Some of the common areas may be affected and subject to related sounds during the week (Monday to Friday). We appreciate your patience during these improvements as we strive to provide the very best customer experience. 

Spa Construction & Third Floor Amenities

The third floor renovation project began on January 2016 and will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 is renovation of the entire floor and will include updates to the arcade, fitness area, and a brand new children’s activity center. It is expected to open May 2016. During this time, all third floor amenities are closed.

Phase 2 is construction of the new luxury spa on the same floor with brand new sauna and steam rooms. It is expected to begin sometime in Fall 2016 and be completed early 2017.

Only the person listed on the reservation may check into the unit and must be 21 years of age or older. A photo ID is required along with a security deposit. 


Front Desk is open 24 hours a day. Bell service may be available depending on your arrival day and time.


  • Flagship: Garage parking is complimentary to Owners and limited to one vehicle per suite. Additional vehicles may park on the street or in adjacent paid lots. Maximum height: 6’ 8”
  • La Sammana: Garage parking is complimentary to all guests. Maximum height: 9’
  • Atlantic Palace: Garage parking is complimentary to Owners and limited to one vehicle per suite. Additional vehicles may park in the paid lot adjacent to the garage. Maximum height: 6’ 8”


All suites include kitchenettes that are fully equipped with:

  • Refrigerator
  • Microwave
  • Two burner stove
  • Toaster
  • Coffee maker
  • Dishes/flatware service for a minimum of 4
  • Serving bowl
  • Pitcher
  • Measuring cups
  • Pots


  • Flagship: Trash should be bagged for removal daily and left outside the suite.
  • La Sammana: Trash chutes are available on each floor.
  • Atlantic Palace: Trash chutes are available on each floor.


Safe Deposit Boxes are provided free of charge at the Front Desk and may be accessed 24 hours. Boxes are approximately 5” x 5” x 18” long. La Sammana offers in room safes.


Coin-operated laundry facilities are open 24 hours. Vending machines with laundry detergent are available on-site.


With the exception of service dogs, no pets are permitted on property. If a pet of any kind is found in the unit, you will be asked to leave the resort.
